A special seminar with sensei Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski, 7th dan, the President of World Traditional Karate-Do Federation, will be held in Boston and Norwich during the weekend of 10 – 12th April 2015. Master Kwiecinski is arriving to The UK straight from his journey to Japan. Legend Shotokan Karate Championships: 07.03.2015

On 7th March, TKFGB representatives competed in Legend Shotokan Karate Championships in Bracknell, near London. The event, which was an open style formula, gathered over 300 competitors, both junior and senior, from all over the UK. It was a very busy competition and most of the athletes showed high level of performance. Our team succeeded in attempt to get to the podium: Mario Kalli secured the gold in individual kata, Lukasz Radwanski, 3rd dan, Andrzej Czyrka, 3rd dan and Mario Kalli, 3rd dan managed to win the bronze in team kumite whereas  Andrzej Czyrka and Mario Kalli reached for the bronze in individual kumite....

1st Traditional Karate Young Talents Tournament: 08.02.2015

On Sunday 8th February 2015 we held our 1st Traditional Karate Young Talents Tournament at the Peter Paine Sports Centre, Boston. The competition was a huge success, with students 13 years old and below of varying grade taking part. 1st Traditional Karate Santa Claus Cup: 14.12.2014

On Sunday, 14th December 2014, 1st Traditional Karate Santa Claus Cup was held in Boston’s Peter Paine Sports Centre. The event organized by the Traditional Karate Academy Boston (TKAB), was dedicated exclusively to children aged 13 and below. They arrived from various parts of England – London, Nottingham, Bournemouth, Brighton, Peterborough, Spalding and Boston – to stand to fight for a place on the podium. The morning practice sessions, led by by sensei Lukasz Radwanski (3rd dan), Gold Medallist at the World Championships (Lodz, 2012), multiple medallist at the European Championships, and the competition itself was attended by over 70 participants.
